About Me

Vivian is a Houston-native who has been with the University since 2020. In her current role she is responsible for welcoming new staff members into the Coog family at New Hire Orientation, as well as providing professional development training to all levels of staff. Prior to joining UH, she worked in the restaurant industry, overseeing new restaurant openings across the country, and before that she worked in the Department of Residence Life and new student orientation at Texas A&M University. In the real world, Vivian loves to read, appreciate nature, look at memes, and spend time with friends. As a life-long-learner, Vivian believes that CliftonStrengths is a tool that can help us better understand ourselves and find the pursuits that make for a satisfying life.
