About Me

Juliet Ogbonna, LMSW, was born and raised in Nigeria. Her social work journey began in Glasgow, Scotland, where she volunteered in community health initiatives. In 2012, she moved to Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, and began her professional career in social work. This path eventually led her to the University of Houston Graduate College of Social Work, where she earned her Master of Social Work degree.

Juliet currently serves as the Care Manager at the University of Houston’s Center for Student Empowerment, where she is dedicated to supporting students through holistic, student-centered care. Her work integrates mental health, well-being, and biopsychosocial services, with the goal of helping students thrive both academically and personally.

Outside of work, Juliet enjoys a rich personal life centered around family, food, and music.
