About Me

Kim has been at UH since 2012 and serves as the Executive Director, Campus Recreation.  I was born and raised a country girl in the rural Texas panhandle, grew up loving the outdoors, animals, especially dogs, and sports. After graduating from UNT, I moved to Tucson, Arizona, for grad school and continued working in Campus Recreation at UA for 10-years.  My career then took me to North Carolina where I worked at UNCG for over 9-years as the Associate Director of Campus Recreation before circling back as Texas was calling me home. This country girl has adapted to H-town and loves all it has to offer, but still loves the great outdoors.  Away from work, I enjoy sports, hiking and kayaking, but most of my time is now spent with my three pups.
