About Me:

Eric Smith grew up in Northwest Ohio and has always had a passion for meeting new people and learning new things. He moved south in search of warmer weather to pursue a Master's Degree in Higher education in 2015 at UCF. Smith has worked at UH in the Center for Student Involvement since 2021 and has been in his current role as Associate Director since 2023 working with Leadership and Civic Engagement programs. He enjoys using Strengths to see how others can contribute in a way where they will thrive and find joy. Outside of work, Smith loves being outside, running, spending time with friends, traveling, and trying new coffee shops.
